My Approach to Therapy
I offer trauma-informed therapy for women in midlife, integrating holistic practices alongside clinical care to support the body, nervous system, and lived experience.
There is no one-size-fits-all model for this stage of life. What you’re navigating is complex, personal, and often deeply embodied — and the work needs to meet you there.
I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what’s happening for you in the moment. This may include somatic therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed work, and narrative or parts-based exploration. I pay close attention to your nervous system and to what your body is communicating, trusting lived experience more than rigid protocols or timelines.
At times, I also incorporate symbolic and imagery-based tools such as tarot to support reflection and meaning-making. Used thoughtfully, these tools can help surface old narratives, belief systems, and emotional truths that are difficult to access through words alone.
Tarot is never used to predict or direct. It functions as a visual language — something we can look at together, slow down with, and explore.
You interpret what you see.
You decide what resonates.
You remain the authority on your experience at all times.
